How to book

Generally, CCA courses are booked via the CA Website’s Fixture Calendar, as this automates the booking process and, importantly, considerably simplifies the financial aspect by offering electronic payment of the coaching fees (and automatic refunds when necessary).
The exception is any course specific for members of a defined club, which are booked via that club.
All the GC and AC courses are listed on the CA website - click here to view and book courses. Please note that the GC courses are listed above the AC courses so you will need to scroll down the page to view the AC courses.
Booking a course requires a CA member to have a password. If you do not have one, this guide [Accessing CA Website.pdf] leads you through the process of registering one.
Once you have access to the CA website’s members’ area, basic instructions for using the CA Website’s Fixture Calendar for booking courses are in this guide [Booking a course via CA Website]:
Note: The CA's Fixtures Calendar has its own comprehensive help system which should be used if any difficulty is encountered. If every avenue has been explored, do not despair, email info@chilterncroquetacademy.org for further assistance. We do not want the technology to get in the way of your coaching!
You can manage all your course and tournament bookings via the CA website (another advantage of the system).
A week or so before a course, those booked to attend will receive an email from the Course Secretary confirming the arrangements and giving any last-minute updates, that, among other things, will take into account the weather forecast.
As stated above, payment of course fees is strongly encouraged through the CA website (which offers credit card facilities). It really is very much more efficient for both the CA Office and the Academy. However, if this is really not possible, the details of the Academy’s bank account are:
Barclays Bank
Chiltern Croquet Academy
Sort Code 20-03-84
Acct No: 33117898
Bank online transfers using these details are acceptable, but it is essential that the transaction reference includes both surname and appropriate course code, as provided in the course details. These allow your payment as recorded on our bank statement to be tied up with your booking.
